From the design though, it’s the wrong series for the red’s to be sacrificial lambs. The yellow would be, in this case.

when my son was young I made him a star trek costume for Halloween one year. he loved it. i got him a phaser and a communicator. that was back when deep space 9 was on prime time and this picture could be back from a time like then.
