Does this guy have a pink elephant on his shirt, or am I just really drunk? I think the left sleeve is supposed to be the trunk, but then again I also think the empty tequila bottle that just rolled off my desk was three-quarters full an hour ago.

The worst thing here is not that he’s wearing a pink elephant on his shirt (although that’s pretty bad). It’s the fact that the layout of the design, coupled with the colors used and the fact that the elephant is narrower on the blank sleeve… it makes him look like he’s got one big fat arm and one rinky dinky weak one. Or am I the only one who sees that?

As a lady whose favorite animal is the elephant, I really like this shirt. I actually kinda want it. what would make it even better would be shortening the pink trunk and have a grey bottom. Just saying.

Back when I was a teenager (the 70′s), there was a partying stunt/joke called a “pink elephant”. You convince someone to take off their shirt, then put it back on with their face to the arm-hole. Then, using a large bowl of weed, everyone takes turns blowing massive “shotguns” into the sleeve while the victim inhales for all he’s worth. The joke part comes when you send him home with a shirt that reeks massively!
It makes the image of him reaching into his pocket really suggestive, don’t it? Then there’s that whole association-with-Republican thing… yeah, definitely not fashionable. (ROTFL!)
Actually I think this is his way of “doctoring up” a bad Clorox bleach accident. He got Clorox on the shirt and it bleached out the left arm and shoulder. So, he figured he’d turn the spot into an elephant and still be able to wear the shirt.

I recognise the t-shirt as comming from Ubang snakketøj http://www.ubang.dk/ a danish company. As far as I know, they only do kids sizes, which is why it is a bit tight on him, maybe he put on his kids shirt for a laugh.

When I was two, I had a sweater just like this, but then the other way around! Pink background, grey elephant and the right sleeve was the trunk. My grandma knitted it for me.
