Don’t Put Anything in Those Pockets

Fashion Fail - Sling Butt

Submitted by: Miami Da Beach via Submission Page

How innovative! Rather than exposing her behind from the underside of her skirt, this woman has chosen to do it from over the waistband. This is the kind of forward-thinking we need in the skank fashion industry.

Clearly someone told her she needed something to cover her butt when she sits down on a public seat so she took some measurements and figured out exactly how much skin she needs to cover. Either that or someone told her to cover up her cellulite. Either way I’m just grateful that I don’t need to see her butt overhang.

  2. Shipoopi says:

lose a lot of weight, then you can wear that

    • Geisha_Girl says:

Not even then – it’s so tacky! I’m assuming she’s wearing this because she likes how it looks, not because the skirt is functional in any way…

      BTW fat haters should STFU.

    • Ralph says:

In what reality does being skinny give anyone an excuse to wear tacky, skanky clothes? Those shorts might ‘fit’ a smaller woman but that doesn’t mean they would be any less horrible. Plain and simple they are a fashion faux-pas.

      Pull your head out.

    • percocet princess says:

How the hell is this half of a skirt any more appropriate on a skinny woman? It would still look god awful and trashy. :/ I don’t get comments like that.

However, I must say that they should stop making bikinis in that size–period. If you have some weight on you, please wear something that covers it up a bit. They make one pieces specifically designed to be ‘flattering’ on larger women.

(You shouldn’t be walking around in THAT in public either, however. I hope to god she was coming form the pool).

  3. Lady Anne says:

That’s a *skirt*? I thought it was a pair of reeeaaly short-shorts. Short from both the top and the bottom. On the other hand, her shoes do match her outfit. (And there’s a lot “out”.)

    • Ralph says:

WAIT A GOL’DARN Second!!! I didn’t even notice her FEET before!! What atrocity is being committed down there! Flip flops and footlets?? Black footlets?? Not even a neutral tone?

That is IT! This is not poolside-appropriate footadornment!

  4. Penquil says:

    Socks and sandals fail!

  5. Snarkqueen says:

Wait a minute – why has NOBODY commented on the fact that this heifer is wearing SOCKS with her flippy-floppies? Black ankle socks as a matter of fact. That either blows her ass-cheeked/cutt-cracked/muffin top bearing skirt (skort? shorts?) out of the water, or it makes my day. Maybe both.

  6. SpaceFairie says:

I’m going to say that thing across her hiney is offically a belt, a belt with pockets so you can have pockets at the pool. This belt has clearly slipped. I say this because it has no waist band and without a waist band the article of clothing such as this becomes vague and indeterminent, allowing you to define it however you like.

The true atrocity in this outfit is the foot wear and the colour of that swimsuit, Terquoise? Matched with black socks and flip flops. That’s just wrong.

  7. Miss Roseblood says:

Why is she bothering with socks? Is it cold outside?

  8. Mariah says:

After working in a fitroom in a store that sells bathing suits, I have developed a high tolerance for people wearing inappropriate bathing suits and cover ups.

Be thankful, that it is only a picture of the back

  9. Nexy says:

    I think that’s a man.

A distressed denim gownless evening strap before 5p? How gauche!

  12. Djkaiba says:

I must disagree with what the title of the post says. I want her to put lots in her pockets. Lots and lots of strings with helium filled balloons on the other end to help pull them up. Hmm…come to think of it alot of people could use these in their pockets now adays. I think I’m going to look into investing in a stapler gun, balloons, and large quantities of balloons….. :::Goes off to plot his anti-low pant scheme some more:::

  13. nic says:

What is sad is if she had not worn the socks (because she obvioulsy was distressed her recent pedicure was not up to her usual rigorous fashion standards) and the shorts (as she was a leeetle bit self-concious about so much skin being shown by her new bathing suit) not a word would ever be spoken.

  14. CC says:

    really?? really??? REALLY???????

  15. Gabriel says:

Socks and sandals are horrible. Clothes in the wrong size are also a bad idea. Dressing like some girl from a rap video is dreadful. Plus, if that was a tankini, without the stupid skirt/belt thing, or the socks with sandals, no-one would object. Tankinis look a lot nicer on plus-sized women than standard bikinis. They also prevent nip-slips.

  16. grr says:

Whatever. Looks like she’s going to the pool.

  17. purdlemeow says:

I’ve heard the phrase “I’ll put your butt in a sling” but I never thought I’d see someone whose butt is actually IN a sling. Eww.

  18. Laney says:

MY EYES! Turn it off! MY EYES! They’re burning :(

  19. EmaRosa says:

Im surprised no one said anything about those damn socks and sandals

  20. iggy says:

that hair is clearly a wig and no matter what the size, you can still kinda see the shape of a female body, look at lack of hips, the thickness (not fat) around the waist, no my friends, what we’re looking at is a poorly dressed crossdresser, not a poorly dressed lady

  21. sally says:

    yum yum chewy bum

  22. PKM says:

Great Scott! A denim utility belt! Genius!

  23. Heino says:

Jesus Christ, can you imagine the stench?!

  24. paul says:

And people have problems with SPEEDOS???!

  25. cno says:

if you out grow your skirt, it is time to let go. cutting off the waistband does not mean it now fits. the flip flops with socks is a whole other issue.

  26. suerox says:

ok… yall complain of the so-called skirt…. HELLO?????? NE ONE SEE THE DAMN SOX N FLIPPY FLOPPIES????

  27. Fabulously dressed (as far as you know) says:

You know what, I bet she has ugly feet and that’s why she’s wearing the socks. I can’t think of another reason she would put socks with her flip-flops, since its a pretty well-known fact that socks with non-tennis shoes or boots should never be worn at the same time.

I mean, she looks like she has an okay idea of fashion. Yes, wearing that really ill-fitting and bright turquoise swimsuit didn’t exactly work, but in THEORY it does. Fashion says to wear bikinis in cool colors, like turquoise. The mistake was to listen to fashion this time. Not everyone can wear what’s “in” because the hot clothing of the time doesn’t work for all body types and ages. You DON’T wanna see your overweight grandmother in a mini skirt, but you wouldn’t mind seeing a 20-something thin girl in one.

She would benefit greatly from knowing what colors and shapes work for her.

  28. Amazon says:

On the plus side…. No cleavage…either front or plumbers….

  29. debbie says:

well… she has on toms. does that count for something?
