His name is Richard. I know both of them, and I’m not into the whole kandi kid raver thing, as I myself believe all that is required to rave are baggy pants and a half-shirt, but I don’t think they need to be on this site.

I think these two should take lessons in how to dress from the elderly gentleman in the previous. He looks as if he “owns”, while these two look more like they are “owned”. I suppose that’s the difference between “adult” and “child”, he is sporting a look born in his own culture, (even if it’s one from thirty years ago, he wears it well) while these two are knowingly or otherwise, borrowing from another frequently barely understood culture’s popular arts. He walks like a king in royal robes, while they appear to have been indiscriminatelyy regurgitated upon by Hobby Lobby’s kiddie krafts aisle.
You seem to think that they would wear that stuff all the time. They most probably would not. The clothes they wear are part of the raver culture they’re from.

This is the exact reason I stopped going to Raves. I don’t want to be surrounded by 20-28 year olds trying to be infants, while very very high on drugs. Burning man needs to go away and so does this “Kandy” crap. Growing up does not mean loss of fun, its just that most people try not to look and act like slow children when they do have fun.
The reason for events like Burning Man (which is not a rave, by the way) is to get away from judgemental people like you for one week a year. Why does BM need to “go away”? If you don’t like it, you don’t have to go. Let the people who do go have a good time and mind your own business doing “grown up” things.

Considering what you see at raves, this doesn’t make me lurch and cry for eye bleach at all. (Unlike demon-spawn prom princess a few pics back *shudder*). It’s like posting something you see at a comicon. In the right places this is a ‘so?’ kind of thing.

Well, This is quite funny. This is actually MY picture so someone took it to post on here.
I am in fact a cyber that doesn’t do drugs and enjoys going to raves on occasion. Richard is a dear friend of mine. I think the fact that he goes to the craft store and makes cool things out of it shows his creativity. You do have to like it or think it’s cool looking but it’s original and that’s what i respect about him. The rest of my outfit looks a bit better but you can’t see it.
BTW, my 5 year old son LOVES the way I dress when i’m in cyber gear or cosplay.
