The Tentacle Tie Is Coming for You

fashion fail - He Is SERIOUS About His SERIOUS TIE

It’s official. The Internet has ruined tentacles. In any other context I might think “oh, what an interesting tie,” but right now I can’t. Even the guy who’s wearing it looks a little afraid. Curse you, Internet!

The guy’s tie truly sucks and I don’t get it at all. But I have to admit (sans tie) his overall look is totally awesome. He pulls it off very well.

I can forgive the tie because I assume there’s some cute, sweet, charming, heartbreaking, fun, forgivable story behind it.

It’s not really “sudden”, since Jules Verne is considered to be the grandpappy of the steampunk genre. He wrote about a kraken or giant octopus, in one of his most popular works.
