If you’re on the internet pretty much ever, there’s a good chance you’ve stumbled on a photo depicting what the Japanese call “Chindogu.” Directly translated as “unusual tool,” Chindogu is the art of innovation taken to a whole new level of weird. Popularized in 1995 by Japanese inventor Kenji Kawakami, it’s since made its way Stateside in various galleries throughout the country.

Dennis Rodman has always been known for being something of a…something. Famous for his multi-colored hair, hoop earrings, and rebounding prowess, he’s surfaced in the public eye once again, this time on an exhibition tour of retired NBA pros.
Not content with being just plain strange, Rodman seems determined to be the subject of your worst nightmares, appearing on the court in Macao adorned in full on demon clown makeup. Fun fact, when you push the Chinese press release through Google translate, the description roughly translates to “Beast known as Rodman.”
